Welcome Andreas as our newest IDC Staff Instructor
My name is Andreas Westphal. I’m from Helsingborg Sweden. I’ve always loved being in the water ever since I was a kid and learned to swim at the age of 4. I always liked going under water and 2016 I finally decided to learn how to dive and I enrolled in the open water course in Sweden.
I didn’t know it yet but this would change my life totally.
My passion for diving grew much stronger and 3 years later I’ve become a open water scuba instructor. The thing I love being an instructor is that you meet people from all over the world, they are always happy, maybe a little scared or nervous about diving but you will change them being totally comfortable and really happy after a dive. It’s all about safety first but I also want to make it fun.
2023 I decided to expand and improve my knowledge so I enrolled in the PADI IDC staff instructor course with Course Director Johan Blixt and I had so much fun, working close with Johan with his vast experience was great as he thought me alot and im very happy i joined his IDC.
