Looking Forward to a Great 2023
2022 ended as great as we all hoped for – loads of divers around and best of all a successful IDC at our newest PADI IDC Resort in Dauin, Negros – Bongo Bongo Divers
IDC in Bongo Bongo
November 21st we started with a great bunch of candidates from Germany, USA, England, Hongkong and Philippines. During the weeks that followed we had a blast in both classroom and in the water. They did loads of different presentations such a classroom, pool and open water and they where are very strong in all with a few minor mishaps during the practice exams but it is normal. It all got corrected and everyone passed the written exams in the IE so all good.
As always we always starts with the theory then skills in the pool, all 5 candidates where doing great. I was really happy to see them all performing their skills with ease.
During the IDC we did a lot of workshops both dry and wet, the dry ones where a blast.
It was great fun playing around in the back of the shop to make sure candidates understand how to set up and run the presentations.
Open water was to start with a bit messy in the beginning but once everyone fully understood how to set it all up it was a walk in the park.
We did practice alot of descents, Cesa and a hole other really fun things during the IDC.
Once the IDC was completed we started doing Specialties, we did do 8 all in all. Deep, Night, Wreck, Drift, DPV, Dive Against Debris, Shark Conservation and of course Nitrox.
During our MSDT-Prep we went to APO Island and did 3 dives, First dive we did a Deep dive and 2 dives on DPV which was really fun. If you do get the chance diving with DPVs do it. You wont regret it. Luckily we have a bunch of DPV instructors who are more then happy to take care of you in Dauin.
5 new PADI Instructors
The IDC, IE and MSDT-Prep was a wrap by all 5 Candidates passing the IE with ease and we have 5 new PADI Instructors in the house!!
We are so looking forward to next year with more IDCs, more MSDT-Prep and more locations to add. We got a few new locations in the making and we are looking forward to be teaching not just in the Philippines.
First up we have another IDC at Bongo Bongo in Dauin, Negros followed by a IDC in Moalboal, Cebu just after.
