PADI IDC and IDCS courses May 2015
You got that right! The PADI IDC and IDCS courses May 2015 have started in Moalboal and we’re already two days into the current PADI IDC and three days into Marlies’ PADI IDCS course.
As always, we have an international group gathered, with Matt coming from Australia, Karsten from Germany, Marlies from the Netherlands and Johan who is staffing is from Sweden.
Marlies completed her PADI IDC with me back in October 2010 on Koh Samui in Thailand and it’s good to see her again and get a refresher and enjoy her IDCS course. She has worked on Koh Samui, Maldives, Indonesia and the Netherlands but the last three years she has completed her studies and now she is ready again for some teaching work in South East Asia and the PADI IDCS Course seemed to her like the best way to get a good update on the new courses that have been changed since she stopped teaching intensively and continued her studies. Like the Divemaster course, Open Water Diver Course, Discover Scuba Diving and now very recently the introduction of ReActivated. I couldn’t agree more and in the meantime, she’s doing very good, she passed all her prerequisite performance requirements with flying colors!
It’s a small but fun group and we already have done some hard work over the last two and respectively three days and made progress on many topic and fronts already. Now it’s time for Marlies to slowly kick back a bit and enjoy the IDC folding out in front of her and for Matt and Karsten the real challenge is about to start, but I’m convinced they can hack it, going by what I’ve seen so far by both of them.
